Hi, I’m Caitlyn. Your sister for hire.

I started this project because I wanted to feel like I do when I’m with my sisters all the time — giddy, happy, empowered, and charged with this limitless kind of love that lights all of us up. That’s honestly my favorite feeling. And during a conversation with myself about what I want out of my one wild and precious life, I realized: that feeling is the one I want to live inside.

So here we are.

What is Sister for Hire?

Sister for Hire is a podcast, a newsletter, and a little corner of the internet for women and femmes who want to feel seen, held, and maybe lightly roasted.

It’s not therapy. It’s not self-help. It’s a letter from your sister… the kind who believes in you endlessly, who’s always on your side (even when she’s telling you to get your shit together), and who really, truly wants to know how your heart is doing.

Every week, I answer letters from people figuring stuff out — heartbreak, work stress, identity shifts, friend drama, body weirdness, life spirals — whatever it is, I’m here to hold space for it. And hopefully make you laugh a little along the way.

What makes this different?

I’m not a therapist (though therapy is amazing and you should absolutely go if you can). I’m not a life coach. I’m just a real sister — a literal one (triplet!) — who knows how powerful it is to be witnessed. Not fixed, not analyzed, not marketed to… just seen, held, and maybe even giggled over.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice. I believe in nuance, curiosity, and the fact that your inner wisdom is already there. I’m just here to help you hear it.
